Lago Maggiore Zipline supports the reconstruction of the Caprezzo Biomass Power Plant and the Borgotti Family

Started with the Winter Cimento, our commitment will continue until 30.06.2020, with the donation of 1€ for every ticket sold.

On Sunday 12th of January, with the fifth edition of the “Cimento invernale in volo”, we kicked off an important solidarity action, to give concrete help to the Borgotti family, so that they can as soon as possible rebuild the biomass plant burnt down last December in Caprezzo (VB).

The contribution that we allocate each year with the Cimento to a philanthropic reality, this year will be donated to the Borgotti family that loves, invests and works in the mountains, to support those who, like us, believe in the Highlands and value them. ⛰

‘We are close to Riccardo Borgotti, who with his family has done a lot for the mountains and the Terre Alte area. We want to make our contribution so that as soon as possible they can start with the reconstruction of the biomass power plant, which was a feather in the cap for our territory,’ says Roberto Locarni, founding partner of Lago Maggiore Zipline.

From this arises the desire to help those who every day decide to invest in our mountains and work here, in the mountains, to give energy to the valley and the surrounding area, and to make a significant contribution Zipline has decided that until 30 June next year 1€ will be donated for every flight sold. The fire that hit the Borgotti family’s biomass power plant last December took away a dream, cultivated for a long time and realised with passion, and we want, in our own small way, to help rebuild this dream.
