An unspoilt area bordering the Val Grande Park, an area where the dominant colour is green, especially in fine weather. The slope, the wood, the beautiful landscape, the good air and the crystal-clear water of the Intrasca Valley become the showcase for more than 30 million followers for one day.

A modern attraction, which in the past was used as a faster means of transport to bring the goodies offered by the mountain down into the valley. The old Teleferica has today been transformed into a Zip Line: a steel cable that makes the dream of flight come true. The same heights, the same forests, but also the same hissing that brings a new idea of economy to the Terre Alte. The idea of the Terre Alte was born from the desire of the municipalities in the area and its inhabitants who love their areas, to form a consortium with the aim of supporting the mountain economy, considering only the natural resources it has to offer.
The Lago Maggiore Zipline is not just about flying, it is also about a nice outing on one of the many carefully mapped out and proposed trails. Some pass right by the start of the Zip Line, while others start from the arrival point (The Nest). If your passion is for 2-wheelers, on the other hand, you will be spoilt for choice, including the legendary climbs included in stages of the Giro d’Italia. There is also the possibility of trying out the climbing wall with its incredible view of Lake Maggiore. Needless to say, if Manuela Brizio, the multiple-time Sky Running World Champion, lives in Aurano, home of the Lago Maggiore Zipline, it is natural to understand that mountain running is a highly practised sport, to the point that the Lago Maggiore Zipline Trail, one of the most beautiful trails in Italy, is organised annually.
